How to Use

1.Prepare the Leather

Lightly dampen vegetable-tanned leather to achieve the proper moisture level for carving.

2.Hold the Swivel Knife

Place your index finger in the finger saddle and grip the barrel comfortably with your thumb and middle finger.

3.Begin Carving

Guide the blade along the pattern using light, controlled pressure while allowing the barrel to rotate naturally.

4.Create the Design

Follow the pattern carefully to carve outlines, curves, lettering, or decorative details.

5.Complete the Project

Clean the blade after use and store the tool in a dry place.

• This tool is intended for carving vegetable-tanned leather and may not perform well on finished or chrome-tanned leather.

• Practice on scrap leather before working on finished projects.
